Ronnie Noonan-Birch

Ronnie works globally at the interface of oceans, climate, biodiversity and bioresources. She holds a BSc in Marine Biology and a Masters in Environmental Studies. Ronnie serves as the Science and Policy Manager at the Ocean Frontier Institute and as a Blue Economy Researcher at Pisces Research Project Management. Her work focuses on the intersection of people and the ocean, specifically on how human well-being is intrinsically linked to ocean health. Ronnie is passionate about elevating the voices of her fellow early career ocean professionals (ECOPs) and co-founded ECOP Canada, a national node of the UN Decade-endorsed ECOP Network Programme.
